Janine is responsible for both the internal and external communications of the Deluxe brand. Her focus is on strategic message development and employing media relations, thought leadership, and content creation to build awareness of the Deluxe technologies that are shaping the future of entertainment.
Prior to joining Deluxe, Janine was a Vice President at APCO Worldwide, a global communications firm, where she provided strategic counsel to a diverse set of Fortune 500 companies to drive corporate reputation and fuel business growth. While at APCO, she led fully-integrated, data-driven campaigns to promote client initiatives and increase share of voice with stakeholders.
Janine believes that in an age of constant connectivity and endless content, an effective communications function is no longer a nice-to-have, but a must-have. Never before have there been so many ways to communicate with audiences, and yet so many ways to inflict real reputational damage. In this environment of hyper-engagement, the key to successful brand communications lies in the ability to forego spin for transparency and seek out the conversations that your brand can connect to in an authentic way.
A graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, Janine is passionate about international affairs and is a dual citizen of the U.S. and New Zealand.
