Deluxe’s VFX teams were out in force in Anaheim last week for SIGGRAPH -- the world’s leading interdisciplinary educational conference showcasing the latest in computer graphics and interactive techniques. Our recruiting force met with hundreds of candidates, presenting a global smorgasbord of VFX opportunities across Deluxe VR, Encore VFX, Iloura, Method Studios, and Rushes.
Work from Deluxe’s Method Studios was on center stage at the Conference, presented by VFX Supervisor Greg Steele as part of a featured production session: The Making of Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War. Thomas Connors from Deluxe’s Encore VFX presented work on The Flash at the Chaos Group exhibit booth, while Encore colleagues Andranik Taranyan and Gevork Babityan wowed crowds with The Flash work at The Foundry’s booth, and Method Studios’ colleague Peter Claes took audiences through Ant Man work at the Side Effects exhibit booth. Thanks to our partners for the opportunities to show what we do!
SIGGRAPH 2016 drew 14,000 attendees from 74 countries.
