Our commitment & principles
We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with our Global Values, which are to be pioneers, pursue diversity, act with integrity, take ownership, collaborate and exceed expectations. We have a zero tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking, and as such we are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business. Our Modern Slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.
· We are committed to protecting and preserving the rights of our employees, those employed in our supply chain, and those affected by our operations;
· We believe that all employment should be freely chosen and commit to refrain from any form of forced or involuntary labour;
· We are opposed to the use of any form of child labour or practices that inhibit the development of children.
Our policies relating to slavery & human trafficking
Our Global Code of Conduct underpins all our company activity. It applies to all employees of Deluxe, our subsidiaries and controlled joint ventures, wherever they are located.
Our human rights approach is aligned to the principles stated within the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights throughout our business operations. Deluxe and its operating entities are committed to respecting the human rights of our employees, and those working on our behalf, through core labour standards. We actively review our policies and procedures to maintain these standards in our recruitment and procurement processes and to identify risks that we may need to mitigate and monitor.
Deluxe’s recruitment and employment policies have been put in place to assist us with complying with applicable laws and to protect the rights and freedoms of our employees. Our process is transparent. The policies address issues such as working hours, working conditions, remuneration, whistleblowing, discrimination, health and safety within the workplace, holiday and sick pay. Each business area throughout our global operations has a dedicated HR team to provide continuous support and guidance on all these policies. Reports of violations of Deluxe policies are investigated thoroughly and remedial action is taken where necessary. If we discover that any of our employees have been complicit in human trafficking or modern slavery, we will take the appropriate disciplinary action against them.
Managing risk in our business operations & supply chain.
We are committed to maintaining high ethical standards across our supply chain. Within our business operations, our management teams are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
Deluxe deals with many independent suppliers and producers of goods and services. It is Deluxe’s intention to only contract with producers and suppliers who can satisfy our standards with regards to labour and welfare conditions. Deluxe’s Terms and Conditions of Purchase (available at http://www.bydeluxe.com/TandS) require suppliers to comply with all applicable statutory requirements. Failure to comply with these requirements would entitle Deluxe to terminate the relationship with the supplier.
Ethical standards are important to Deluxe’s procurement decisions and we continually seek to improve our procurement processes with a view to combatting the risks of modern slavery occurring through our suppliers and their supply chains.
We are committed to reviewing our training procedures, policies and contracting practices in relation to slavery and human trafficking and will update this statement as appropriate.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and was approved by the board of directors on 6 November 2025
